In a world where over-the-top productions dominate entertainment, it’s nice to find a theater company that relies on talent and imagination. Such is the mission of the Missoula Children’s Theatre. The Montana-based troupe hosts a cast comprised entirely of children grades 1-12 who share all of the responsibilities of production; assistant directors, actors, and choreographers all work together to create a spectacle on the stage. The current production of The Secret Garden is a celebration of everything good, and reminds audiences to appreciate the little things that the world has to offer.

Saturday 6/21. $5-10, times vary. The Paramount Theater, 215 E. Main St. Downtown Mall. 979-1333.
