Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is making another local stop to stump for his ticket, this time at a rally Thursday at Crutchfield Corporation in Charlottesville.

Doors open at 4:30pm for the 6:30pm event, which will take place at Crutchfield’s headquarters at 1 Crutchfield Park off Dickerson Road near the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport. Free tickets are available via the campaign’s Virginia website and at the Romney’s Charlottesville Victory Office at 455 Albemarle Square.

Ryan last touched down at Charlottesville airport October 2, when he attended an event in the valley and holed up for a couple of days of debate prep at Wintergreen Resort in Nelson County.

  • Lyin Ryan is bad for business

Local millionaire likes Romney – go figure. While I prefer to support local business, Bill Crutchfield obviously thinks promoting his political opinion is more important than my business. Well Best Buy is closer and usually cheaper. And with online shopping from other vendors we don’t pay VA taxes. No need for Crutchfield anymore. See ya Bill. Have fun at your little “victory rally”! Though I don’t think Ryan should start measuring the drapes quite yet.

    • Hypocrisy Alert

Once again, a liberal democrat goes personal. Hopefully the other people around here will not use someone’s personal politics against others. Why so many calls nationally to boycott this and boycott that ? your personal choice for sure, but let’s stop calling names and have a real man pants debate.

      • ryan is sorta douche-y

Good points, to which you’d agree businesses that openly promote political parties, left or right, open themselves up to ridicule. They should expect blowback.
