Charlottesville environmental groups are joining together to host a screening of this award-winning documentary and a Q&A with the film’s producer, Richard Phinney. The film casts a light on what happened when a Trump development company began building “the world’s greatest golf course” on the ancient dunes of Aberdeen, Scotland– designated a Special Scientific Site of Interest by the United Kingdom. Complimentary popcorn and soft drinks will be offered as well as a cash bar. Representatives from Piedmont Environmental Council and the Southern Environmental Law Center will be answering questions about preserving Albemarle County’s rural areas. Doors open at 6pm. Bill Moyers will interview Richard Phinney at 7pm. The screening will begin at 8pm.
