Husband-and-wife-team Joel and Jennifer Jones host line-ups of locals of all ages and backgrounds sharing strange, funny, and often moving stories on many different themes. The stories are limited to 6-8 minutes to keep the show moving, and storytellers are challenged to tell their tales without notes. Audience volunteers act as judges to award a jar of jam (The Big Blue Door Jam “Jam”) to one storyteller each month, who will be invited to participate in the Big Blue Door Slam early in 2013.
