An evening honoring UVA’s resident Civil Rights hero including a reception, musical performances by UVA’s Black Voices and the Charlottesville High School Knightengales Choir, and a screening of the film Julian Bond: Reflections from the Frontlines of the Civil Rights Movement, followed by a conversation with the man of honor. The evening will culminate with remarks and recognition by President Teresa Sullivan and other distinguished guests.
